Rehearsing Plays

During the first few rehearsals it will be productive to have the class work in small groups; this will help the students to focus and become familar with the lines and story before having a full group rehearsal. This is also a good time to work on team building and cooperation in the class, as students have the opportunity to practice patience and respecting others throughout the rehearsal process. Use the whole process with the plays as a means for the students to explore and use their imaginations, while practicing their language, vocabulary, communication, and comprehension skills.
